 Carmelo Anthony will serve as one of NBC's top studio analysts when the network begins broadcasting NBA games in the 2025-26 season. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. 

After retiring from playing in May 2023, Anthony, a 10-time NBA All-Star and a Hall of Fame nominee for 2025, has been exploring opportunities in sports media. He has already shown his capability in this arena through his podcast, "7PM in Brooklyn," indicating a natural fit for studio work.

This move by Anthony into sports broadcasting is part of a trend where former players transition into analyst roles, bringing their firsthand experience and unique perspectives to fans. His appointment is seen as a significant addition to NBC's NBA coverage strategy.
