Was Mike Budenholzer Fired Too Soon?

 

The Milwaukee Bucks decided to fire head coach Mike Budenholzer after 5 successful seasons. The Bucks were eliminated by the Miami Heat in 5 games in the first round of the 2022-2023 playoffs. 

Did Budenholzer deserve to be fired?

As the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, Mike Budenholzer won 69% of his games in the regular season. He was awarded coach of the year in the 2018-2019 season. And not to mention The Bucks won an NBA championship in 2021.

I will not omit the fact that Budenholzer made no adjustment in the series with the Miami Heat which resulted in a series loss. The team also did not have Giannis Antetokounmpo for a few games in the series. 

 Some of the names that have been mentioned as potential candidates include Mike D'Antoni, Quin Snyder, and Ty Lue. Whoever the next head will be it will be clear from the beginning that the Bucks' ownership wants to win another NBA Championship.
