AL Wins All-Star Game, Bieber Gets MVP

The 2019 MLB all-star game did not carry a ton of excitement, but it is always nice to see the best of the best go head to head. 

The American League beat the National League 4-3 with starting pitcher Shane Bieber getting the all-star game MVP. Bieber pitched a perfect inning striking out the side on 19 pitches. 

I thought this year's all-star would feature more home run with the way home runs are flying out of the park in the regular season. The game did feature way too many strikeouts. Both teams combined strikeout 23 times. For me, that way too many for the MLB's elite batters.
