The Unstoppable Temple Owls

The Temple Owls have advanced to 7-0 for the first time in school history. This may not be a big national story, but the Owls are getting a lot of love locally. The Owls edged out a win on October 22, 2015, against the East Carolina Pirates in Greenville, NC. Temple did not look good at all in the first 3rd quarters only managing to score 10 points. The Owls entered the 4th quarter trailing by 4 points. Scoring 2 Touchdowns in the 4th Quarter and holding East Carolina to zero in the 4th Quarter lead to the result of an Owls win 24 - 14.

The Owls look to be in a good position having a 7-0 record on top of a 4-0 conference record. The remaining regular-season schedule is Notre Dame, SMU, USF, Memphis, and Connecticut. Memphis and Notre Dame may be the only games Temple will not be the favorites to win. It might be a lock that Temple will be playing in the American Athletic Conference Championship game. Their defense is only allowing 14.6 points per game to their opponents. Defense has been their cornerstone and will keep the Owls any game.

Temple's next game is a big one where they will take on number 11 ranked Notre Dame at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Notre Dame will be the best team Temple will play all of the regular seasons. The Owls stand alone as a bright spot in Philadelphia sports. The 76ers are "rebuilding", the Phillies just finished with the worst record in the MLB, the Flyers do not have high expectations, and the Eagles have been mediocre at best with a 3-3 record.

I think realistically the Temple Owl's can go either go 11-1 or 10-2. Agree or Disagree?
