WNBA Star Caitlin Clark Is Releasing A Children's Book
WNBA star and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is stepping into a new role: children's book author. On April 28, 2026, Random House Books for Young Readers announced that Clark's debut picture book, "EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams," will hit shelves on November 3, 2026.
The 32-page rhyming picture book, illustrated by Adriana Predoi, is aimed at children ages 4 to 8. It draws directly from Clark's own life, sharing an uplifting message about perseverance, the power of support systems, and what truly makes someone extraordinary.
At its heart, the story celebrates the people who help us chase our dreams: family, friends, teammates, and community. Clark was inspired by a simple phrase that hung on a mirror in her childhood bedroom: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA." The book expands on that idea, reminding young readers that giving extra time, attention, and love to the moments and people that matter most is the real secret to success.
The vibrant illustrations by Predoi bring Clark’s story to life with playful basketball scenes and heartfelt family moments, making the book both inspiring and accessible for young readers.
