The Eagles Make Saquon Barkley The Highest Paid Running Back Ever

 

The Philadelphia Eagles have decided to restructure Saquon Barkley's contract to make him the highest-paid running back in NFL history. 

Barkley has received a contract extension for a 2-year $41.2 million extension. This extension makes Saquon Barkley the first NFL running back to make over $20 million.

You have to give credit to the Philadelphia Eagles for paying Saquon the way they did. After his MVP Caliber 2024 season, I felt like he outplayed his original $12.5 million per year contract. I will go a step further and say by staying with the Philadelphia Eagles Saquon is now on a Hall of Fame career track.
