Dallas Mavericks Reveal New Dirk Nowitzki Statue

 

After the Dallas Mavericks retire Dirk's number in the 2021-2022 season, owner Mark Cuban promised to make a statue of Dirk Nowitzki. He has delivered on that promise. 

"It's a promise that gives me joy to deliver on, because you earned it," - Mark Cuban 

The statue stands nearly 24 feet tall. It features Dirk in the motion of his infamous fadeaway jump shot wearing the white Mavericks home jersey.
