ESPN To Cut 500 Jobs

 ESPN plans to cut 500 Jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic leading to a loss in revenue. 

It has been reported that 300 of the jobs cut will layoffs. 200 of the jobs will be open positions that will now be eliminated. 

The worldwide leader in sports did not statement what department the layoffs would come from. It is rumored that the layoffs will span across multiple departments within the company. 

ESPN suffered tremendously when the country shut down and no sporting events were taking place. The company has recently placed some fresh faces on the ESPN radio lineup outside of The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz.
