MLB Suspends Alex Cintron For 20 Games
The MLB has issued a 20 game suspension to Houston Astros hitting coach Alex Cintron.
The suspension comes from the benches-clearing incident Sunday with the Oakland Athletics and outfielder Ramon Laureano. The league clearly thinks Alex Cintron's role was significant in this incident due to suspension length.
The MLB is coming down heavy with the suspension in this 2020 60 game season. A 20 game suspension is 1/3 of the entire season. It seems like they want players and coaches to think twice before getting into any altercations.
