The Giants Hire The First Female Coach In MLB History

The San Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler has added Alyssa Nakken to his coaching staff. This makes Alyssa Nakken the first full-time female coach in MLB history. 

Nakken played softball for Sacramento State from 2009 to 2012. She was a 3-time all-conference player and a 4-time Academic All-America.
