Willie Taggart Is Out As Florida State Head Coach
Taggart was the head coach for the Florida State football program for just 21 games. His record was a disappointing 9-12.
A lot of people are speculating that Willie Taggart was ultimately fired because of the way the Seminoles looked in their 27-10 loss to the University of Miami
.
“I met with the team and coaches after the conversations to let them know of the change, it was very important to us that the student-athletes know right away.”- David Coburn - FSU Director of Athletics
Taggart had 4 years remaining on his contract so FSU will have to pay him $17 million in a buyout
