Willie Taggart Is Out As Florida State Head Coach

Florida State University has decided to fire head coach Willie Taggart.

Taggart was the head coach for the Florida State football program for just 21 games. His record was a disappointing 9-12.

A lot of people are speculating that Willie Taggart was ultimately fired because of the way the Seminoles looked in their 27-10 loss to the University of Miami.

“I met with the team and coaches after the conversations to let them know of the change, it was very important to us that the student-athletes know right away.”-  David Coburn - FSU Director of Athletics

Taggart had 4 years remaining on his contract so FSU will have to pay him $17 million in a buyout
