The Nationals Take 2-0 Lead In The NLCS

The Washington Nationals take a commanding 2-0 series lead in the NLCS over the St. Louis Cardinals.

The formula for the Nationals winning the first two games has been simple. Just enough offense and amazing pitching. The Nationals Manager Dave Martinez has rolled the dice with the use of some of his starting pitchers out of the bullpen.

Max Scherzer and Anibal Sanchez both took no-hit bids into the 7th inning. The Nationals pitching has been absolutely dominating in the NLCS so far.

The good news is the Nationals will return to D.C. with a 2 game lead and chance to wrap up the series before next weekend.
