Ben Lovejoy Retires From The NHL


After 11 seasons in the NHL, Ben Lovejoy is decided to retire from the league. Ben Lovejoy made the official announcement on the NHL Network.

The 35-year-old defenseman announced back in 2017 that he will donate his brain for concussion research. At the time of his announcement he the first active NHL player ever to donate their brain for concussion research.

Lovejoy did have the pleasure of winning a Stanley Cup back in 2016 with the Pittsburgh Penguins
