The Teams Russell Westbrook Will Likely Be Traded To

After making the play 9 out of the last 10 seasons, the Oklahoma City Thunder are clearly cleaning house and starting over.

Kevin Durant elected to go to the Warriors back in 2016, Paul George was traded to the Clippers, and now Russell Westbrook is likely to be the next all-star player they will ship out of town.

Oddly there is not a long line of teams salivating at the idea of acquiring the former MVP. The Thunder clearly want some respectable assets for Russell Westbrook and some quality draft picks. These are the few teams that could OKC the best assets.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves could create a package deal around Andrew Wiggins that may peak the Thunders interest. But outside of Wiggins upside, he comes with a contract that still owes him over $122 million.

I would love to see Karl Anthony-Town playing alongside Russell Westbrook, the Timberwolves would be a special team to watch in the west.

Miami Heat

Now we know most people wouldn't mind living in Miami, Florida, but would Russell Westbrook fit playing alongside Jimmy Butler?

The Heat have the draft picks and a litter of young players to offer to Oklahoma City Thunder. I don't do see a deal for Russell Westbrook that does not include Goran Dragic, Justin Winslow, Bam Adebayo and/or Ryan Anderson.
