Pete Alonso Beats Vladimir Guerrero Jr. To Win 2019 Home Run Derby

The 2019 Home Run Derby came down to a clash between the rookies. The New York Mets Pete Alonso edged out the Toronto Blue Jays slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The 2019 Home Run Derby was must-see TV and all of the participants put on a show. 

Pete Alonso won $1 million for winning the Home Run Derby which is almost double his salary. The all-star rookie will donate 10% of his derby winnings to 2 different charities. 5% will go to Tunnel to Towers Foundation and 5% will go to Wounded Warrior Project.
