Mets Sign Todd Frazier for $17 Million
The New York Mets have agreed on terms to sign Third Baseman, Todd Frazier.
The Mets get the 32-year-old in a 2-year deal at $8.5 million per year which comes out to a total of $17 million. I think this is a bargain for a player like Frazier in today's MLB economy.
The 2-time all-star hit .213, 26 home runs and drove in 87 RBI's playing for the White Sox and Yankees in 2017.
I think the Mets signing Frazier tells me that this may be the end of the David Wright era.
It will interesting to see where Todd will hit in the lineup. I think he brings power to the lineup, but he strikes out too much to hit 1, 2 or 3.
