Kristaps Porzingis is the best rookie in the 2015-2016 season. Agree? or Disagree?

I gotta admit I really like this draft class more than I expected before the season started. I think it's on of those draft classes that will be more appreciated few years from now once the players reach their true potential. The Knicks are a significant upgrade from the 2014-2015 season but are still not worth talking about too much. One of the bright spots for the Knicks is the play of their first round draft pick Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis currently leads the team in rebounding and blocks per game. I think this kid has the potential to average 23 PPG and 12 RPG. I am not sure why his role with the team is not constant. He has games where he will play 30+ minutes and take 15 to 20 shots in the game. Then he will have games where he will play less than 20 minutes a game and take less than 10 shots. I am not sure if it's the coaches or is he just deferring from game to game.

You cannot overlook the play of Towns and Okafor this season. Neither players are playing on relatively good teams, but they managed to perform well so far. Okafor Leads all rookies in scoring and Towns leads all rookies in rebounds. There is still a little over half the season to go, but these guys have separated their self from the pack.

Kristaps Porzingis is the best rookie so far in the 2015-2016 season, Disagreed

If I would Rank the rookies so far it would look like this

  1. Karl-Anthony Towns
  2. Jahlil Okafor
  3. Kristaps Porzingis
