Bryce Harper : The LeBron of baseball ?
Bryce Harper .443 AVG 31 HR 98 RBI 20 SB THE 17 YEAR OLD SIGNED BY THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS FOR $9.9MIL.
Bryce is called by many "the Lebron james of baseball". I would be the first to say he has the hype he has the numbers but baseball is a little different then basketball. Harper won the 2010 Golden Spikes Award which is given to the best amateur baseball player in the USA. Bryce has hit a 502 feet HR that he hit in Tropicana Field. Harper batting .443 in college, that is the stat that sticks out the most to me. Thats almost like he gets a hit every other time he comes to the plate. In a NBA comparison thats like he make 2 out of every 4 shots he takes, in a NFL comparison thats like completing 3 out every 5 passes you throw in a season. I know your probably saying he hit .443 in college he won't do that in the majors, and I'm only saying hitting close to .500 on any level of baseball is amazing and a sign of great things to come.
In college Bryce Harper played the catcher position. Many MLB scouts say eventuality Bryce Harper will move to a different position like first base or even to the outfield. Bryce has a bright future and high expectations. I believe in the future with the core that they are building the will be the front runners to win the national league east.
