LeBron Will Where A Special Patch For The Rest Of The Season
LeBron James is set to wear a unique special-edition jersey patch for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. This commemorative patch honors his record-breaking 23rd NBA season, the most by any player in league history.
The patch debuts tonight when the Los Angeles Lakers face the Sacramento Kings, symbolically returning to the city where James made his NBA debut on October 29, 2003. At 18 years old, he came off the bench for the Cleveland Cavaliers in that game against the Kings, scoring 25 points in an impressive first outing despite the loss.
The initiative is a collaboration between the NBA and Topps, which returned to producing official NBA-licensed trading cards. Topps plans to put the patch into exclusive high-end NBA trading cards beginning in the near future.
