Hasson Reddick Ends His Holdout With New York Jets

The New York Jets, edge rusher Haason Reddick has finally ended his prolonged holdout, agreeing to a restructured contract that paves the way for his return to the field. This move comes after months of speculation, negotiations, and a notable absence from team activities, including the start of the 2024 NFL season.

Reddicks new agent Drew Rosenhaus, revealed that they are still working on a long-term contract.

"We will continue to work towards a long-term extension with the Jets" - Drew Rosenhaus

The two-time Pro Bowler will report to the Jets on Monday morning(October 21, 2024). He will receive the remainder of his 2024 base salary of $9 million plus new incentives that will allow him to recoup the $12 million he lost in fines.

Reddick's return could be a game-changer for the Jets. His expertise in pass rushing, combined with his versatility on the defensive line, adds a layer of complexity to the Jets' defense that was sorely missed. His presence might not only improve their defense against the pass but also lift the morale of a team looking to turn their season around.
