Geno Smith Gets $100 Million Contract From Seahwaks

Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks agree to a 3-year $105 million contract. It was reported that $52 million will due in the first year of the deal.

Despite the way Geno Smith's career started, this contract extension is well deserved. Geno threw 30 touchdowns completed 69.8% of his passes and led the Seattle Seahawks to the playoffs with a 9-8 record. He was also selected to his first Pro Bowl in the 2022 season.

After the playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Geno stated he would like to spend the rest of his career with the Seattle Seahawks. This contract will keep Geno with the Seahawks through the 2025 NFL season.
