Ben Simmons Reach Settlement With 76ers

 Brooklyn Nets all-star Ben Simmons has reached a settlement with his former team over his 2021-2022 salary. Simmons wanted to recoup nearly $20 million of his salary even though he didn't play a single game in the 2021-2022 season. 

The Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons agreed to an undisclosed amount to settle the grievance case. 

Simmons is now slated to make $35 million in the 2022-2023 season, $37 million in the 2023-2024 season, and $40 million in the 2024-2025 season
