Fernando Tatis Jr. Will Miss 3 Months

 

San Diego Padres all-star shortstop Fernando Tatís Jr. is slated to miss significant time following his wrist injury. Tatis fractured his wrist in the off-season and it will require surgery to repair. 

It is unclear exactly when Tatis will get the surgery on his fractured wrist. The longer surgery is delayed the longer the MVP candidate will miss regular-season games. 

The Padres underachieved in the 2021 season going 79-83. Fernando hit 42 home runs with 97 RBIs in the 2021 season.
