Jon Lester Decides To Retire
Pitcher Jon Lester has decided to retire from playing baseball after 16 seasons.
"I'd like to think I'm a halfway decent self-evaluator. I don't want someone else telling me I can't do this anymore. I want to be able to hand my jersey over and say, thank you, it's been fun that's probably the biggest deciding factor." - Jon Lester
Jon Lester is one of the more accomplished pitchers of his generation. He won 3 World Series, 5 all-star selections, an NLCS MVP, and he has 200 career wins.
