The Jacksonville Jaguars Part Ways With Urban Meyers

 The Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to fire Urban Meyers after 13 games of the 2021 season. 

"After deliberation over many weeks and a thorough analysis of the entirety of Urban's tenure with our team, I am bitterly disappointed to arrive at the conclusion that an immediate change is imperative for everyone" - Shad Khan, Jacksonville Jaguars

Urban Meyer was in the headlines for the wrong reason since he got the head coaching job. And on top of it all Jacksonville was 2-11 under Meyers tenure. 

Meyers being fired opens up the idea of him returning to coach for an NCAA team. The coaching carousel is in full swing and there are plenty of teams that would love to hire Urban Meyers. 

Going forward offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will serve as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season
