Max Scherzer Signs With New York Mets
The New York Mets and Max Scherzer have agreed to a massive new deal. The deal is 3 years and is worth an estimated $130 million.
Playing for the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers, Scherzer went 15-4 with an ERA of 2.46. Max is a walking hall of fame and does not seem to have lost a step yet. It is worth noting that he will be entering the 2022 season at 37 years old.
The Mets now have a strong one-two punch in their starting rotation with Jacob Degroom and Max Scherzer.
