Mika Zibanejad Gets $68 Million Contract

New York Rangers have locked down their top center Mika Zibanejad. Mika has agreed to an 8-year contract worth $68 million.

"Since joining the team in 2016, Mika has emerged as one of the premier players in the NHL, in addition to being a great player on the ice, Mika is an exemplary person off of the ice. We are fortunate to have him as part of our Rangers organization and are excited that he will continue his career in New York." Chris Drury, New York Rangers General Manager

The Rangers feel they have a core foundation of talented players to be competitive for years to come. They have not been in the Stanley Cup since 2014.
