Cardnials Hire Oliver Marmol As Manager

 The St. Louis Cardinals have decided to promote their bench coach Oliver Marmol to manager.

At 35 years old, Marmol will be the youngest manager in the MLB. In fact, 8 players that were on the Cardinals 2021 roster are older than Marmol. Oliver Marmol will also become the 6th minority manager. 

He replaces former Cardinals manager Mike Shildt who had a 252-199 record with 3 playoff appearances in 3 seasons.
