Dougie Hamilton Signs $63 Million Deal With Devils

 All-Star defensemen Dougie Hamilton has agreed to a massive deal with the New Jersey Devils. The deal was reported to be 7 years for $63 million. 

Dougie accumulated 42 points playing in 55 games. In his last 3 seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, he averaged 20+ minutes of ice time. 

The New Jersey Devils are looking to collect a group of talented players to turn the franchise around. The Devils have not made the playoffs since the 2017-2018 season.
