The Panthers Fire Their General Manager
After a underachieved 2020 season by the Carolina Panthers, the team has decided to fire their General Manager Marty Hurney.
"I'm trying to figure out what should be the right structure for an organization today, just because there's been the same structure in the NFL forever in a lot of places doesn't mean it should be the same structure now." - David Tepper, Panthers Owner
I think a lot of the reasons the Panther's 2020 season was not so successful was due to Christian McCaffrey being injured. A healthy Christian McCaffrey opens up the Panther's offense completely.
Marty Hurney has one more year left on his contract but the excited new owner David Tepper thinks things need to change.
