Auburn Fires Gus Malzahn After 8 Seasons

 Auburn University has decided to fire their football head coach Gus Malzahn. Gus has been the team's head coach for 8 seasons. 

"After evaluating the state of the Auburn football program, we've decided that it was time to make a change in leadership, we appreciate everything that Gus did for the program over the last eight seasons. We will begin a search immediately for a coach that can help the Auburn program consistently compete at the highest level." - Allen Greene, Auburn director of athletics Allen Greene

Auburn had some success during Gus Malzahn 8 year run. Malzahn was 68-35 overall and 39-27 against the SEC. The team also played in a National Championship game back in 2013.
