Steve Cohen Buys The Mets For $2.3 Billion

Steve Cohen has agreed to buy the New York Mets from the Wilpon and Katz family. Cohen got the MLB team for an estimated $2.3 billion. 

The sale is still subject to approval by MLB who will vote on this matter in November 2020. 

76ers owner Josh Harris and a group led by Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were also interested in buying the New York Mets.
