Canelo Alvarez Sues Oscar De La Hoya And DAZN

Canelo Alvarez is suing DAZN and Oscar De La Hoya over a breach of contract. Alvarez is claiming that all parties failed to deliver on the $365 million as promised.

The Mexican boxer is seeking at least $280 million in damages. He is also suing for punitive damages, attorneys fees, and the costs of the suit.

Canelo has yet to fight in 2020 and that is apart of his problem with DAZN and Oscar De La Hoya. The coronavirus pandemic put a halt on most sports for a period of time, but Top Rank has held several boxing events throughout the summer.
