Mike Soroka Suffers A Torn Achilles

The Atlanta Braves best starting pitcher Mike Soroka suffered a torn Achilles in a game against the New York Mets. 

Soroka was trying to do a routine play to cover first base after a ground ball was in the infield. He took one step and dropped to the ground immediately. Soroka has a torn right Achilles tendon and he will done for the season. 

Mike Soroka went 13-4 with a 2.68 ERA in the 2019 season.
