Alvin Gentry Has Been Fired By The Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans has decided to fire head coach Alvin Gentry after 5 seasons with the team. 

During Gentry's tenure with the Pelicans, the team record was 175-225. The team only made the playoffs once in the 2017-2018 seasons.

The Pelicans join the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls for the search for their next head coach for the 2020-2021 season.
