Mississippi State Hires New Basketball Coach

Nikki McCray-Penson is the new head coach for Mississippi State University women's basketball ball team. 

"Nikki brings energy, creativity, and a winning mentality to Mississippi State that will inspire our student-athletes and community" - John Cohen, Athletic Director 

Nikki coached at Old Dominion University for the last 3 years. She managed to have an overall record of 53-40.

McCray-Penson spent some time playing in the ABL and WNBA. She is also a two-time Olympic gold medal winner with Team USA basketball in 1996 and 2000.
