The New York Jets Will Release Trumaine Johnson

The underachieving Trumaine Johnson has been notified that he will be released by the New York Jets. 

Johnson signed a 5-year deal worth $72 million back in 2018 with the New York Jets. After two horrible seasons, Johnson's release was inevitable. 

If Trumaine Johnson was on the Jets roster by March 20, 2020, his 2020 salary of $15 million would have been fully guaranteed.
