Hunter Henry Gets Franchise Tagged

The Los Angeles Chargers franchise-tagged tight end Hunter Henry. Henry is slated to make $10.7 million for the 2020 NFL season. At least, for now, Hunter Henry is the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

I actually totally agree with the Charger decision to franchise tag Hunter Herny. He is a top 5 Tight End in the NFL today no doubt, but his durability is suspect. Henry missed the entire 2018 due to a torn ACL injury. In his young NFL career, He has never played a full 16 game season.

Hopefully in 2020 Hunter Henry can have the season we all know he can have and gets a big contract in spring 2021.
