The NHL 2021 Winter Classic Is Headed To Minnesota

The Minnesota Wild will host the 2021 Winter Classic at Target Field. 

This marks the first time the Minnesota Wild will host or play in the annual event. The 2021 Winter Classic is set to take place on January 1, 2021, against an opponent that has yet to be named. 

Target Field is the home to the Minnesota Twins and has a capacity of over 38,000 for baseball games. Minnesota is considered to be the "State of Hockey" so I expect a large turnout for the 2021 Winter Classic.
