Mookie Betts Gets 1-Year $27 Million Deal

The Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts have agreed on a one-year deal worth $27 million to avoid arbitrations.

This $27 million deal set the arbitration record. The record was $26 million by all-star third baseman Nolan Arenado with the Colorado Rockies.

Mookie Betts already has an MVP, a World Series, and 4 all-star selections. I am of the belief that Betts is in line to join the $300 million contract club.
