Carlos Beltran Is The Mets New Manager

The New York Mets have hired former Met, Carlos Beltran to be the team's new manager.

Beltran and the Mets have agreed to a three year deal with an option for a fourth year. The all-star outfielder played for the Mets from 2005 to 2011.

Carlos had aspirations of being a major league manager for quite some time. He interviewed for the New York Yankee's manager job that eventually Aaron Boone got hired for.
