The Dodgers Elect To Start Buehler In Game 1

The Los Angeles Dodger will give Walker Buehler the ball to start game 1 of the 2019 NLDS against the Washington Nationals

The move to start Buehler in game 1 comes at a surprise. The Dodgers have one of the best pitchers this decade with Clayton Kershaw. They also have potentially the 2019 NL Cy Young winner with Hyun-Jin Ryu.

Walker Buehler has been a stud in his own right in the 2019 season. He went 14-4 with a 3.26 ERA and 182 1/3 innings pitched. He also has an ERA of 2.92 against the Washington Nationals in the 2019 season.

Buehler will face off with Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin in game 1 of the NLDS.
