Jaylen Brown Turns Down $80 Million From The Celtics

It is rumored that young guard Jaylen Brown has turned down a 4-year $80 million contract extension from the Boston Celtics.

Jaylen Brown is clearly elected to bet on himself and ball out this year and possibly get more than $80 million. The problem is Brown was already the best deal from the Celtics.

Let's assume Jaylen Brown plays at an all-star level in the 2019-2020 season. The Celtics are not going to offer him the max over Jayson Tatum. To be honest we are still waiting for Jaylen Brown to put together a full season of playing at the peak of his potential.

The money he is looking for will come from another team and not the Boston Celtics.
