Illinois Upset #6 Wisconsin 24-23

Illinois came into this game as 31-point underdogs against the number 6 ranked Wisconsin Badgers. The Fighting Illini hit a late field goal to beat the Badgers 24-23 to complete the upset.

I thought Illinois played good football throughout the entire game. What I believe benefited Illinois the most was the 3 turnovers. The Badger throw an interception and had 2 lost fumbles including a fumble by Heisman Trophy contender Jonathan Taylor.

This upset lose may have essentially eliminated the Badgers from a shot at being in the NCAA College Football Playoffs.
