Christian Yelich To Miss The Rest Of The Season

The Milwaukee Brewers took a big hit by losing the 2018 MVP. Christian Yelich will not play for the rest of the 2019 season.

Yelich took a foul ball off of his right kneecap. The injury is being called a fractured kneecap.

"We have to move forward, we feel awful for Christian. That's the thing kinda resonating with me right now is he's a special player, and it's a joy to watch him play every day. And he's the best at what he does. So not being able to see that every day is definitely no good. But we gotta respond, and we have a great opportunity, and the guys battled to a great win tonight." - Craig Counsell, Milwaukee Brewers Manager
Yelich has a shot at winning the 2019 NL MVP. He has 44 home runs, 97 RBI's and he has a .329  Batting average.
