CJ McCollum Explains Why NBA Players Are Not Playing For FIBA

Portland Trailblazers guard CJ McCollum had something to say about NBA players dropping out of FIBA. He thinks that some NBA player is choosing not to play for Team USA FIBA for a few reasons.

McCollum believes that for the first time in a few years, A lot of teams think they have a chance to win the NBA Championship. CJ goes a step further and says the scheduling of FIBA may be a problem as well. He talks about the FIBA schedule being too close to the start of the NBA's preseason.

I see all of McCollum's points, but I think he is leaving one out. NBA players now days just don't think playing for FIBA is all that important. Let's just call it what it is. Team USA Olympic basketball is a different story completely.
