Wizard Get Isaiah Thomas On A One-Year Deal

Isaiah Thomas and the Washington Wizards have agreed on a one-year deal. The deal is worth an estimated $2.3 million for the 2019-2020 seasons.

The Wizards clearly needed a veteran guard since they have no idea when all-star John Wall will be able to return to the court. Washington got Thomas on the cheap and he may give them high output if he is able to return to the form he was in back in the 2016-2017 season.

Isaiah is given one more shot and a fresh start with the Washington Wizards. Once upon a time, he was on his way to collect a max contract and now he gets one-year deals where he is forced to prove himself one season at a time. I hate to say it, but if things don't work out for Isaiah Thomas in the nation's capital, I am not sure how many more opportunities he will get on the NBA level.
