The Raptors Win Their First NBA Title In Franchise History

The Toronto Raptors have beat the Golden State Warriors in 6 games to obtain the franchises first NBA Championship.

One of the most overlooked things about this 2019 NBA Finals was the great defense that the Raptors played. At various moment Nick Nurse elected to go into a box-zone defense that affected the Warriors offense.

Sure the Raptors beat an injured and depleted Warriors team, but I don't believe that this NBA Finals win should have an asterisk next to it. 

Kawhi Leonard was awarded the NBA Finals MVP, joining LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabber as the only player to win the NBA Finals MVP with 2 different teams.
