Goodell Calls For Less Pre-Season Games

With a few months away from the beginning of the 2019 NFL season, Rodger Goodell has expressed the idea of shortening the NFL pre-season.

"I feel what we should be doing is always to the highest quality, and I'm not sure preseason games meet that level right now," - Rodger Goodell
Rodger Goodell usually gets what he wants when it comes to the NFL since he is the NFL Commissioner, but this is a different case. In order to shorten the NFL pre-season, it would have to be written and agreed upon in the collective bargaining agreement or the CBA.

The current CBA does not expire until the end of the 2020 season. So the earliest we can see a change in the amount of pre-season games in the 2021 season.

It will be interesting to see how many games it is reduced to. I would like to see 2 pre-season games for each team.
