Gerald McCoy Signs A One-Year Deal With The Panthers

The Carolina Panthers strengthen their defense by signing pro bowl defensive tackle Gerold McCoy to a one-year deal. 

The deal is worth $8 million with a $500,000 bonus if he gets 6 sacks and a $1.5 million bonus if he gets 8 sacks in the 2019 season. 

McCoy has 54.5 sack in his career which is a lot for an interior lineman. Panthers Head Coach  Ron Rivera talked about mixing up the defense with playing a 4-3 scheme as well as some unique schemes with 3 defensive linemen.
